Assistant Attorney General - Environmental Regulatory and Litigation
Role responsibilities
The attorney will provide regulatory support for permitting, enforcement, and rulemaking matters for the Utah Department of Environmental Quality. Responsibilities include conducting legal research, assisting in civil enforcement, and representing DEQ in various legal matters.
Requirements
Candidates must have at least three years of full-time law practice experience and be members or eligible for membership in the Utah State Bar. A Juris Doctorate degree is required, along with strong communication skills and a background in environmental law.
