B&W Trade Marketing/Customer Strategy & Planning Assistant Manager – DT H&B & Professional Channel (Hair Salon)
PURPOSE
Lead Category Strategy & Planning (CS&P) for DT Health & Beauty (H&B) and Professional Channel (proC) within Beauty & Wellbeing, driving accelerated growth in high-potential formats.
This role is critical to unlocking H&B growth opportunities and building proC from the ground up, working closely with Sales and cross-functional teams to translate strategy into execution excellence.
Design and deliver clear, actionable growth plans with defined building blocks and enablers to unlock sustainable growth for B&W.
MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES
1. Lead CS&P for H&B & proC
• Drive end-to-end CS&P, ensuring strong linkage between category strategy, channel strategy, and customer execution
• Translate growth drivers into actionable channel plans (Big Bets, N+3 pipeline, activity roadmap)
• Ensure excellence in assortment strategy, promotion planning, and in-store execution
2. Accelerate DT H&B as a Strategic Growth Channel
• Build deep understanding of H&B channel dynamics, key customers, and competitive landscape
• Identify growth opportunities across portfolio, visibility, and shopper activation
• Partner closely with Sales to drive sell-in, win execution, and scale best practices
3. Build & Scale proC (Professional Channel)
• Lead the setup and development of proC as a new growth engine for B&W
• Define channel strategy, go-to-market model, and activation framework
• Apply a test-and-learn approach to validate and scale winning models
• Demonstrate an entrepreneurial, hands-on mindset in a fast-evolving environment
4. Strong Sales Partnership & Execution Excellence
• Partner closely with Sales to translate strategy into execution reality
• Align on targets, joint business plans, and performance tracking
• Proactively address bottlenecks to ensure strong in-market delivery
5. Shopper & Channel Insights
• Develop strong understanding of beauty shopper behavior, missions, and trends
• Leverage insights to design relevant, differentiated shopper programs
• Continuously monitor performance and optimize based on learnings
KEY REQUIREMENTS
Core Skills
• Strong CS&P / Category / Trade Marketing fundamentals
• Deep understanding of H&B channel (DT, pharmacy, beauty retail)
• Strong analytical and insight generation capability
• Proven ability to translate strategy into execution impact

Experience
• At least 2- 3 Year of Experiences in CS&P / Trade Marketing / Category Planning roles (Beauty/FMCG preferred)
• Exposure to H&B (Health & Beauty) or similar specialized channels is a strong advantage
• Experience in building new initiatives or channels is a plus
