The Challenge
Adobe is expanding and looking to add an enthusiastic, professional, and goal-oriented Software Licensing Consultant to our License Advisory team in Korea. The role of the License Consultant is to consult with customers to work with C&P business sales teams on optimizing the transition to subscription licensing and ensuring customers are appropriately licensed for their current and future requirements.
This person will support Managed, SMB, and Renewals customers throughout their subscription lifecycle by assisting with annual true-ups and renewals, identifying levels of product adoption, and coordinating with cross-functional Adobe teams to ensure customers derive maximum value from our software. This focus will empower our sales teams to drive consistent growth across our core customer segments.
What You’ll Do
External
- Measured against the number of completed comprehensive reviews for Managed and SMB accounts, reconciling software deployment and license entitlement records.
- Drive license reviews to completion within the shortest possible timeframes to meet quarterly performance targets.
- Actively communicate and negotiate with customers’ key stakeholders to address and resolve license compliance issues.
Internal
- Identify licensing shortfalls, provide specialized licensing expertise, and assist with general software asset management for internal stakeholders.
- Maintain accurate reporting and systems regarding all license review activities.
- Provide commercial teams with in-depth customer analysis related to licensing status and opportunities.
What You Need to Succeed
The successful candidate will demonstrate the following skills and personal attributes:
- Self-motivated and comfortable working in a high-performance sales culture with a proven track record of exceeding targets.
- Experience with customers in pre-sales, renewals, or licensing roles within the software industry.
- Capable of managing customer relationships and demonstrating expert objection-handling techniques.
- Strong knowledge of how customers manage software deployment and usage in Commercial, SMB environments.
- Familiarity with software asset management and general licensing terms; demonstrates a solid understanding of contracts and end-user agreements.
- Provide excellent customer service throughout all licensing activities and internal/external interfaces.
- Data-driven analytical skills with strong attention to detail and the ability to execute effectively within a matrix team structure.
- Clear communication skills; proficiency in English is required.
