Role Overview
Guidehouse is seeking a motivated intern to support international energy cooperation projects with a focus on climate and energy policy, stakeholder engagement, and project delivery in the MENA region and beyond. The role combines analytical work, project coordination, and event management.
What you will do:
- Support the implementation of international energy and climate projects, including research, analysis, and support preparation of deliverables
- Conduct desk research and develop concise summaries on energy policy, renewable energy integration, and regional developments (with a focus on MENA)
- Contribute to stakeholder engagement activities, including preparation of presentations, briefings, and communication materials
- Support the planning and organization of high-level events (e.g. workshops, study tours, conferences), including logistics coordination and participant management
- Assist in drafting reports, concept notes, and internal/external communications
- Support project management tasks, including tracking of activities, timelines, and outputs
What you will need:
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in international relations, political science, energy studies, economics, or a related field
- Strong interest in energy transition, climate policy, and international cooperation
- Initial experience or academic exposure to the MENA region is an asset
- Excellent analytical and research skills with the ability to synthesize complex information concisely
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Fluent in English; proficiency in French is a strong asset
