Accountabilities:
- Design, build, and maintain scalable backend features and APIs using PHP and modern frameworks, ensuring reliability, performance, and maintainability across core product services.
- Contribute to cross-functional product development, including occasional frontend work in React to support end-to-end feature delivery.
- Leverage AI tools to accelerate development, improve engineering efficiency, and introduce smarter workflows across the team.
- Analyze A/B test results and product data to evaluate feature performance and drive continuous improvement.
- Participate in technical decision-making, helping the team operate with high autonomy and minimal dependency on external product management.
- Write clean, tested, and maintainable code while actively improving engineering standards and team practices.
- 3+ years of backend development experience with strong proficiency in PHP and Laravel or similar frameworks.
- Hands-on experience using AI tools to improve software development workflows and delivery speed.
- Strong knowledge of REST APIs, SQL/MySQL, message queues such as SQS, and cloud infrastructure (AWS preferred).
- Solid testing practices and commitment to high code quality, reliability, and maintainability.
- Basic knowledge of Python for supporting tasks and scripting needs.
- Familiarity with React for occasional frontend collaboration.
- Strong ownership mindset, proactive attitude, and ability to work independently in a low-bureaucracy, fast-moving environment.
- English level B1 or higher.
