Accountabilities
- Lead and oversee global, multiregional, or complex regional Clinical FSP partnerships, serving as the primary strategic contact for assigned customers.
- Establish, maintain, and expand customer relationships while ensuring delivery aligns with contractual agreements, customer objectives, and strategic priorities.
- Provide executive oversight for clinical FSP delivery, ensuring quality, timelines, key performance indicators, milestones, audits, and contractual commitments are successfully achieved.
- Act as the main point of contact between customers and internal stakeholders, including operations leaders, finance, business development, pricing, strategy, and partnership teams.
- Develop governance frameworks and operating models that enable effective service delivery, risk management, and continuous improvement.
- Identify potential risks, proactively escalate issues, and implement solutions to maintain successful customer outcomes.
- Lead or support contract negotiations, change orders, proposals, RFIs, RFPs, and business development opportunities from a clinical FSP delivery perspective.
- Partner with commercial teams to identify opportunities for service expansion, innovation, and portfolio growth.
- Oversee financial health of assigned partnerships, including budget management, forecasting, revenue performance, payment alignment, and margin protection.
- Lead and mentor FSP delivery teams, fostering accountability, collaboration, and high-performance execution.
- Support strategic initiatives related to clinical service development, operational improvements, and business transformation.
- Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Business Management, or a related discipline; equivalent relevant experience may be considered.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, CRO, or clinical research industry.
- At least 5 years of supervisory or leadership experience within healthcare, clinical research, or related environments.
- Strong understanding of the drug development process and clinical trial operations.
- Proven experience managing large-scale or complex FSP partnerships, client accounts, or strategic clinical service delivery programs.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain executive-level relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
- Strong negotiation, presentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to develop tailored operating models, solve complex business challenges, and translate strategy into execution.
- Strong business acumen with experience managing financial performance, contracts, and service delivery outcomes.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to inspire teams and influence within matrix organizations.
- Fluent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and travel approximately 20–40% as required.
