Accountabilities
- Design, develop, test, debug, and maintain scalable cloud-native business applications.
- Build and maintain software solutions using modern programming languages and cloud technologies.
- Migrate existing applications to cloud environments and develop new cloud-native applications.
- Integrate multiple data sources while identifying and resolving compatibility, security, and performance issues.
- Design, configure, and implement cloud software solutions that address real business needs.
- Maintain cloud infrastructure and application platforms while supporting performance optimization initiatives.
- Develop cloud workflows, processes, and architectures aligned with industry best practices.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, and cloud deployment guidelines.
- Build and support continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines using modern development practices.
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications and deliver effective software solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders while independently managing complex technical assignments.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues using sound analytical and problem-solving skills.
- 4–6 years of professional experience in software development or a related technical role.
- Postsecondary degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience developing cloud-based applications and working with cloud platforms and services.
- Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile development methodologies.
- Experience with modern programming and scripting languages.
- Knowledge of cloud architecture, cloud storage, SaaS, PaaS, and cloud security principles.
- Familiarity with database technologies, configuration management, and IT automation.
- Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and modern development environments.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and data-driven decision-making skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively both independently and within cross-functional teams.
- Adaptability, creativity, emotional intelligence, and a customer-focused approach to software development.
- Competitive annual salary ranging from CAD $61,600 to $113,900, based on experience, skills, education, and location.
