The Role
Behind every successful project shipment lies precision, foresight, and commercial acumen. As a Project Logistics Pricing Specialist, you’ll be the architect of profitable solutions, ensuring every quote balances customer requirements with operational feasibility and sustainable margins.This role is about more than numbers. It’s about translating complex scopes into clear, competitive pricing strategies, supporting procurement initiatives, and enabling our teams to deliver excellence in project logistics. You’ll be the link between customers, carriers, and internal stakeholders, ensuring every pricing decision strengthens trust and drives growth.
Responsibilities
- Shape solutions: Utilise approved pricing tools and portals to source carriers and costs, ensuring accuracy and alignment with service agreements.
- Balance profitability: Apply minimum selling margins while covering all supplier costs to deliver profitable scenarios.
- Keep records precise: Log and record quotes accurately and on time in required systems.
- Handle complexity: Follow special cargo processes for project shipments, ensuring compliance with internal guidelines.
- Support procurement: Partner with managers on sourcing initiatives and rate automation in the TMS.
- Drive improvement: Undertake additional tasks to support continuous optimisation and customer satisfaction.
Requirements
- Prior experience in logistics or supply chain operations, ideally in international freight forwarding.
- Strong decision‑making and analytical problem‑solving skills.
- Basic understanding of financial principles and commercial decision‑making.
- Collaborative mindset with strong communication skills.
- Openness to change and continuous improvement.
- Proactive, solutions‑focused approach with a drive to optimise customer experience.
