This position serves as a IT Project Manager (APPSW/INFOSEC), located in the Department of Justice, Chief Information Officer, Service Delivery Staff, Application and Platform Services Directorate, Email and Collaboration Branch in Washington, DC. The incumbent is responsible for planning, directing, and executing complex, mission-critical information technology projects involving Application Software (APPSW), Information Security (INFOSEC), eDiscovery, and enterprise application services.
The duties and responsibilities for a IT Project Manager (APPSW/INFOSEC) GS-2210-14 generally include, but are not limited to, the following: Overseeing Microsoft Office 365 cloud operations to ensure reliable communication, content sharing, and collaboration across Department components. Plans and designs systems and application architecture. Coordinates the integration of application services with enterprise architecture, aligning web-based solutions, messaging systems, and collaboration tools with DOJ-OCIO requirements, performance standards, and INFOSEC policies. Analyzes and allocates IT resources, including funding, personnel, hardware, and software to support application services, eDiscovery operations, and enterprise IT initiatives. Performs application software functions involving the design, documentation, development, modification, testing, installation, implementation, and sustainment of enterprise applications supporting mission-critical and national security operations. Implementing enterprise application services to deliver interoperable, scalable, and secure collaboration capabilities across mission-critical environments.
