Accountabilities:
- Lead quality engineering activities throughout launch phases, acting as a key representative for the quality function.
- Gather, analyze, and communicate customer and operational data to support problem-solving and decision-making.
- Execute launch readiness activities, including new hire training, production support, validation activities, and product containment when required.
- Develop and maintain quality documentation, including APQP, PFEP, PFMEA, process control plans, flow charts, and related launch materials.
- Collaborate with site quality and engineering teams to ensure customer requirements and quality expectations are achieved.
- Provide on-site support during major launches and steady-state operations.
- Develop training materials, exercises, and standard work instructions to improve operational consistency.
- Maintain training scorecards and support workforce development initiatives.
- Drive regional quality initiatives, standardization efforts, and implementation of best practices.
- Analyze existing processes and recommend improvements to increase efficiency, reliability, and quality performance.
- Support the adoption of emerging technologies and innovative approaches in operational training environments.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience working in a quality role within automotive, medical devices, logistics, manufacturing, or a similar environment.
- Strong understanding of structured quality launch processes, including APQP methodologies and quality tools such as PFMEA, control plans, and process mapping.
- Knowledge of international quality standards, including ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001.
- Experience interpreting quality standards, inspection requirements, and technical documentation.
- Ability to develop and deliver effective training programs for operational teams.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and continuous improvement skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities when working with customers, operations teams, and internal stakeholders.
- Experience with production floor training software or digital learning tools is a plus.
- Willingness and ability to travel approximately 50% across North America to support launches and projects.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
