**Summary:** Meta is seeking a strategic, execution-oriented leader to own and lead the Top Partners function within the Partnerships organization. As Director, Top Partners, you will be the single point of ownership for Meta's most strategic external partner relationships — the cross-company engagements that require coordinated executive-level negotiation and deal execution across multiple business lines.This role spans Meta's highest-value commercial partnerships across infrastructure, devices, platforms, and AI. You will manage the full lifecycle of these relationships — from deal strategy to ongoing partner management through cross-functional coordination and executive engagement — ensuring Meta operates with maximum leverage and coherence across its most important partners. You will lead a team of partner managers and drive some of our most complex and highest-value negotiations and partnerships.The right candidate brings deep product and strategy thinking, experience in managing complex, high-stakes, multi-stakeholder partner relationships at scale, and the ability to operate as a credible counterpart to executives at the world's largest technology companies. **Required Skills:** Director, Business Development - Top Partners Responsibilities: 1. Own Meta's Top Partners program — the executive-level relationships and commercial negotiations with Meta's most strategic external partners across infrastructure, devices, platforms, and AI 2. Serve as the deal principal on the portfolio's most complex negotiations, including platform compliance terms, device distribution agreements, and AI partnerships 3. Develop and maintain a portfolio-wide strategy that identifies opportunities to create leverage across partner relationships and maximize value for Meta 4. Manage the weekly executive review and leadership deal prep cadences, ensuring senior leadership has the context and recommendations needed to make strategic partner decisions 5. Orchestrate engagement across Legal, Finance, Product, Engineering, and executive stakeholders on partner transactions 6. Work with product leadership across Meta on escalations and strategic initiatives with these partners 7. Represent Meta externally with partner executive teams on matters of strategic and commercial significance 8. Provide regular updates to senior leadership on partner health, competitive dynamics, and strategic opportunities across the portfolio 9. Lead and develop a team of partner managers covering the full Top Partners portfolio, fostering a culture of deal excellence, accountability, and strategic rigor 10. Build team capabilities in commercial negotiation, stakeholder management, and cross-functional deal execution 11. Drive continuous improvement in partner engagement processes, executive reporting, and deal operations **Minimum Qualifications:** Minimum Qualifications: 12. 8+ years of direct people management experience, with demonstrated ability to build and lead high-performing teams 13. Proven track record of negotiating and closing complex, multi-stakeholder commercial agreements with large technology companies at a significant scale 14. Experience leading cross-functional initiatives and orchestrating outcomes across legal, finance, product, engineering, and executive stakeholders 15. Demonstrated product understanding and an ability to think strategically about both products and partnerships 16. Executive-level communication and influencing skills, with the ability to represent Meta externally and advise senior leadership on deal strategies **Preferred Qualifications:** Preferred Qualifications: 17. Prior experience at a major technology company in a business development, partnerships, or strategy role managing relationships with over $1 billion in annual commercial value 18. Experience in operating in environments with high executive visibility and direct engagement with CEO-level leadership on partner strategies 19. Background in managing complex platform compliance or commercial negotiations (e.g., app store terms, API access, data usage frameworks) 20.
