NVIDIA Software Networking team is looking for a highly motivated Release Manager to join our Linux Drivers team and drive the planning, execution, and delivery of software releases. In this role, you will work across engineering, QA, product, and program teams to ensure high-quality releases are delivered on time while continuously improving release processes and methodologies.
What you’ll be doing:
Own and drive end-to-end release management activities for software products.
Build and manage release plans, schedules, milestones, and delivery commitments.
Coordinate across Engineering, QA, Product Management, and Program Management teams to ensure release readiness.
Track features, bug fixes, risks, dependencies, and quality metrics throughout the release lifecycle.
Lead release status meetings, communicate progress, identify risks, and drive issue resolution.
Define and improve release management methodologies, processes, and automation tools.
Collaborate with teams across multiple geographies to streamline development and release workflows.
Drive continuous improvements in planning, execution, visibility, and release quality.
What we need to see:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or equivalent experience.
5+ years of experience in Software development or Release Management, Program Management, Project Management.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to manage multiple parallel releases.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and drive cross-functional initiatives.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking abilities.
Experience tracking schedules, milestones, risks, and dependencies.
Excellent English verbal and written communication skills.
Ways to stand out from the crowd:
Experience managing software releases in a complex development environment.
knowledge of Linux OS Advance technologies, networking, cloud, virtualization, or data center technologies.
Experience driving process improvements, automation, and AI-based productivity initiatives.
Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and release processes.
Experience with Jira, Git, and release tracking tools.
