Production Operator

Location: Peru, IL Pay: $17.50/hour Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

About the Role

We're looking for a reliable, hard-working Production Operator to join our team in Peru, IL. In this role, you'll play a key part in keeping our production line running smoothly and efficiently, ensuring quality and safety standards are met on every shift.

Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor, and adjust production equipment/machinery according to standard operating procedures
• Inspect products for quality and consistency, flagging or correcting defects as needed
• Load, unload, and stage materials for production runs
• Perform routine equipment checks and basic troubleshooting; report mechanical issues to maintenance
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in compliance with company safety policies
• Accurately record production data, counts, and downtime
• Follow all safety protocols, including proper use of PPE
• Collaborate with team members and shift leads to meet daily production goals

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Prior manufacturing or production experience is a plus, but not required — we're willing to train the right candidate
• Ability to stand, lift (up to 50 lbs), bend, and perform repetitive tasks for the duration of the shift
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented manufacturing environment
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Reliable attendance and punctuality
• Basic math and reading skills for tracking production data

Schedule & Pay

• Shift: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (subject to overtime as needed)
• Pay Rate: $17.50/hour
