Robotics systems only perform at their best when the engineering processes behind them are equally well-built. As our Robotics Process Engineer, you will design, refine, and champion the processes that bring our autonomous ground systems from concept to reality — reliably, safely, and at the standard ARX Robotics' mission demands.
You will work at the crossroads of robotics, systems engineering, and functional safety, partnering with multidisciplinary teams and suppliers to ensure our development processes are efficient, compliant, and built to scale. Your work will directly shape how we engineer the next generation of autonomous platforms.
What You'll Build
End-to-end engineering processes for automotive robotics projects, from early concept through to prototype validation and system deployment
Process architectures, workflows, and technical requirements that give our development teams a clear and reliable path forward
Feasibility studies and concept frameworks for robotic and automated systems that push the boundaries of what autonomous ground vehicles can do
Rigorous performance analyses that identify and resolve bottlenecks in robotic system functionality and process reliability
Validation plans and testing frameworks for advanced automation technologies and intelligent systems
Structured technical documentation — including process specifications, validation plans, and engineering reports — that keeps projects traceable and audit-ready
A compliance foundation aligned with automotive and robotics engineering standards, functional safety requirements, and development process best practices
Strong working relationships across Robotics, Systems, and Safety Engineering teams, as well as external supplier partners
What You Bring
A Master's degree in Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
10+ years of experience in safety engineering, risk management, or process engineering within complex technical environments
Hands-on experience with safety-critical or mission-critical systems, where process integrity directly affects outcomes
Solid knowledge of relevant safety, cybersecurity, and functional safety standards and frameworks
The ability to lead and align cross-functional teams around shared process goals, from scoping through to delivery
Strong analytical skills and a structured approach to identifying process gaps and translating them into practical improvements
Clear, concise technical communication — whether writing documentation, presenting findings, or aligning stakeholders
Please note: You do not need to meet every single requirement to apply. We welcome motivated candidates who are eager to grow into the role and develop their expertise further.
