While working as an Anesthesia Technician you will perform duties under the supervision of licensed anesthesia care physicians and assist the licensed anesthesia physician in the clinical setting. To be successful you will:
- Demonstrate practical knowledge and expertise in all general areas of anesthesia
- Maintain the anesthesia environment, equipment, supplies and personnel to facilitate department functions.
- Ensure department compliance with regulatory and accreditation requirements related to anesthesia care
- Oversee and maintains inventory of equipment and supplies.
Job Requirements
In addition to bringing humankindness to the workplace each day, qualified Anesthesia Techs will be required to have the following:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Previous healthcare related experience
- Basic computer skills
- Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association
Physical Requirements - Medium Work - (Exert up to 50lbs force occasionally, and/or up to 20lbs frequently, and/or up to 10lbs constantly)
