Qualifications:
The Accountant III will have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Business with 3 to 5 years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. CPA, CMA or MBA preferred.
The Accountant IV will have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Business with 4+ years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. CPA, CMA or MBA preferred.
The Accountant Sr I would have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Business and 6+ years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. CPA, CMA or MBA preferred.

Knowledge and understanding of financial analysis and contract administration, including budgets, forecasting, internal controls, and treasury management
Proficiency in drafting professional research papers on major company transactions based on applicable accounting guidance
Ability to provide in-depth trend analysis on major operating accounts
Leadership abilities such as managing projects, training staff, and leading cross-functional teams
Demonstrated success working independently on complex, ad hoc projects for the department

In-depth knowledge and understanding of financial analysis and contract administration, including budgets, forecasting, strategic plans, internal controls, treasury, and financial management

Ability to work effectively in a team environment while providing in-depth analysis and recommendations using critical thinking and sound judgment
Demonstrated ability in delivering effective presentations to stakeholders and/or leadership

What You Will Do at Cambia:
Duties can include one or several of the following:
Prepares monthly journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and major sections of corporate and subsidiary financial statements (GAAP and SAP)
Gathers, validates, and summarizes accounting and statistical data; prepares ad-hoc analyses as requested
Maintains allocation tables within the cost accounting system using labor distribution, organization structure, line of business, and other statistical data
Prepares and analyzes administrative cost and budget reports, including investigation of budget variances at department, division, and line of business levels
Responsible for miscellaneous invoicing, marketing incentive worksheets, and cross-training on a variety of jobs to provide back-up capabilities
Coordinates with other Plans and departments; provides internal and external auditors with reconciliations, schedules, and explanations; investigates unusual transactions
Performs analysis on cost trends and allocations; proposes and implements updates to allocation tables; supports re-forecasts and budgeting
Researches and reports on current and proposed accounting and auditing standards; prepares and presents regular and ad-hoc analysis to Management
Coordinates administration and operation of complex financial systems; participates in design, development, and testing of financial system updates and enhancements
Mentors new team members on Cambia policies; provides support and assistance to Accountants I and II in their routine job functions
Additional Duties for Accountant IV
Provides financial assistance and support on corporate projects and activities, including mergers, system conversions, and new product development.
Participates in the development, implementation and revision of financial policies, procedures, and practices that are a part of the Company's set of internal controls.
Support development of implementation plans as new accounting rules and regulations become effective.
Provides support, assistance and training to Accountants I and II and III in their preparation of monthly balance sheet account reconciliations, analyses, journal entries, financial reports, and collection of data, including coordination with other Company departments to resolve inaccuracies or discrepancies as necessary.
Additional Duties for Senior I
Helps oversee the preparation of audit schedules used in the audit examination. Investigates and resolves any unusual transactions or activities. Works closely with internal and external auditors to ensure timely completion of audits, resolving questions or audit issues as they arise.
Assists, supports, trains and directs Accountants I, II and III in daily activities, including the preparation of monthly balance sheet account reconciliations, analyses, journal entries, financial reports, and collection of data, including coordination with other Company departments to resolve inaccuracies or discrepancies as necessary.
Works directly with outside consultants, bankers, brokers, regulators and customers on financial and accounting issues.
Assists in the coordination of the monthly close with other team members.
Leads small groups/teams on small projects.
Ensures team members assigned tasks are completed timely and accurately, can provide effective feedback on technical performance.

Oregon, Washington, Utah, and Idaho: The expected hiring range is 62,900.00 – $85,100.00, the full salary range is $59,000.00 – $97,000.00. and the bonus target is 5%.
North Dakota: The expected hiring range is $59,837.48 - $80,956.60, the full salary range is $54,151.66 - $86,642.43.
Accountant IV
Oregon, Washington, Utah, and Idaho: The expected hiring range is $76,500.00 – $103,500.00, the full salary range is $72,000.00 – $117,000.00 and the bonus target is 10%.
North Dakota: The expected hiring range is $73,231.73 - $99,078.23, the full salary range is $66,273.48 - $106,036.49.
Senior Accountant I
Oregon, Washington, Utah, and Idaho: The expected hiring range is $84,200.00 – $113,900.00, the full salary range is is $79,000.00 – $129,000.00 and the bonus target is 10%.
North Dakota: The expected hiring range is $81,679.31 - $110,507.30, the full salary range is $72,523.20 - $119,663.39.
