And you can too, so bring your energy to ours!The Director of Rates & Regulatory is responsible for leading a team of professionals while collaborating with our business partners to develop rates and tariffs strategies for the interstate pipeline system. This role will design and coordinate solutions to meet customer needs that align with our business objectives. Strategic ability and good judgment are keys to success in this role!Your work will challenge you, and with our Core Values to guide you, you’ll quickly learn and grow with us.Responsibilities/Expectations:Collaborates with others to identify strategy and approach for rate cases and tariff filingsDevelops and maintains all policies, processes and standards and ensures compliance with regulatory requirementsOversees the modeling and analysis of rate base, cost of services, rate design and other items for rate cases and rate timing studiesDevelops assumptions for volume and revenue budgeting and forecasting based on market analysis, contractual provisions and regulatory considerationsIntegrates regulatory strategy with business, capital and financial planningProvides research and education on regulatory issuesCoordinates workforce planning and career development activities for direct employeesDevelops/handles budgets, plan and forecasts; conducts regular cost analysisMentors others and holds team accountable for performing all work in accordance with requirements, standards, policies, procedures and processesLeads responses to FERC and other regulatory agency data requests and compliance requirementsOther duties as assignedEducation/Years of Experience:Required: Bachelor's degree; a minimum five (5) years’ supervisory or management experience and minimum ten (10) years’ relevant accounting experiencePreferred: Certified Public Accountant (CPA)Other Requirements/Responsibilities:Demonstrates excellent organizational/interpersonal skills and safety as the utmost priorityProficiency in Microsoft Office Applications and PC skillsExtensive knowledge of FERC regulations and accounting requirements/processesChampions certificate and modernization activities for all FERC‑regulated interstate pipelines and storage facilities across Transmission, Power, and GulfExecutes end‑to‑end FERC certificate filings, including major expansions, abandonments, prior notices, blanket certificates, 2.55(b) reports, and related regulatory submissionsDrives certificate and compliance strategies that align regulatory outcomes with business objectives#LI-KR1About Houston (Williams Tower Location):Our Houston office is located in the Williams Tower, just steps from the Houston Galleria on Post Oak Boulevard, an area with more than 700 retailers, fine dining and hotels within two square miles.
