The hourly rate for this position is $22.73 + .50 Shift Differential per hour.CORE HOURS: 2:30PM - 11PM. Below are a few of the outstanding benefits that we offer:Health benefits effective day one of employment. Retirement benefitsPaid Parental Leave Educational Assistance Program Wellness Reimbursement, and more! What you’ll do: In this function, you will:Operate a forklift to move raw materials, components, supplies & finished goodsLoad and unload trailers as requiredPick and pull stock for deliveryOrganize pallet area in the backyard on regular basisOrganize material storage location in backyard and inside the building on a regular basisComplete forklift inspection on a daily basisPrimary owner for recycling duties for assigned area (i.e., emptying cardboard bins to the cardboard baler on a daily basis, operating cardboard baler, etc.) Track and sustain all visual management tools such as, but not limited to: layered audits, Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) boards, and any additional LEAN tools that are deemed necessary to provide direction, goals and status to the shop floor.Encourage, support, and actively participate in Kaizen improvements and events throughout the facility, department, and area of responsibility.Qualifications: Basic Qualifications:A minimum 6 months of previous forklift experience or material handling experience in a manufacturing or logistics setting. Must possess a valid and current driver's license. No relocation package offered. Candidates must reside within 50 miles of the work location to be considered for this position.
