Accountabilities:

    • Execute SOC 1, SOC 2, SOC 3, SOC for Cybersecurity, HIPAA assessments, and other security and compliance audit engagements.
    • Perform day-to-day IT audit activities, including readiness assessments and control evaluations under the guidance of leadership.
    • Assess the design and operating effectiveness of technology controls across client environments.
    • Identify, document, and communicate audit findings, risks, and improvement opportunities to clients and management.
    • Participate in client meetings, maintain strong relationships, and provide proactive communication throughout engagements.
    • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure audit quality, timely delivery, and effective project execution.
    • Supervise and support junior audit team members, providing coaching, feedback, and professional development guidance.
    • Prepare regular status updates, communicate potential issues proactively, and contribute to internal audit process improvements.
    • Support training initiatives and knowledge sharing within the IT audit team.
    • Requirements:

      • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business, cybersecurity, management information systems, or a related field.
      • 3–4+ years of experience performing IT audit engagements within a Big 4 or comparable audit/consulting environment.
      • Strong understanding of SOC 1, SOC 2, SOC 3, security compliance, and technology control frameworks.
      • Experience evaluating IT controls, identifying risks, and preparing audit documentation and reports.
      • Familiarity with GRC and compliance automation platforms such as Vanta, Drata, Secureframe, or similar tools is preferred.
      • Active certification or progress toward certifications such as CISA, CPA, CISSP, ISO 27001 Lead Auditor, or PCI QSA is highly valued.
      • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with clients and team members.
      • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
      • Ability to work collaboratively while demonstrating ownership, initiative, and a high level of motivation.
      • Bilingual English and Spanish skills are a plus.
