Accountabilities:
- Develop and maintain recurring market benchmarks focused on real estate development activity, cost trends, project performance, and industry dynamics.
- Analyze large and complex datasets to identify meaningful patterns, emerging trends, risks, and opportunities within the commercial real estate market.
- Produce original research reports, market analyses, and data-driven narratives that support strategic decision-making.
- Clean, structure, validate, and prepare complex datasets using analytical tools such as SQL and Excel.
- Translate quantitative findings into clear insights that can be understood by developers, investors, executives, and other industry professionals.
- Collaborate with marketing, product, and sales teams to ensure research findings are effectively positioned and communicated.
- Present market intelligence through webinars, industry discussions, publications, and external-facing initiatives.
- Continuously improve research methodologies, analytical processes, and intelligence capabilities.
- Experience analyzing markets, industries, or business performance through research, consulting, financial analysis, brokerage research, or similar roles.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets and identify meaningful insights.
- Hands-on experience cleaning, validating, and preparing data for analysis.
- Advanced Excel skills and experience using SQL for data analysis; familiarity with Snowflake or similar data platforms is a plus.
- Understanding of commercial real estate, real estate development, construction economics, or adjacent industries.
- Ability to transform analytical findings into concise, compelling narratives for professional audiences.
- Independent research mindset with strong curiosity and the ability to investigate complex questions with limited supervision.
- Excellent communication skills and confidence presenting insights to internal and external stakeholders.
- Experience producing market reports, industry research, or economic analysis is preferred.
- Familiarity with statistical analysis, econometrics, or financial modeling is a plus.
