The Marketing & Brand Strategy team is responsible for producing and informing compelling, insight-driven marketing that cohesively showcases the holistic value of American Express to business customers. We do this by deepening B2B brand engagement, enabling exceptional marketing, and delivering breakthrough go-to-market strategies.

The Senior Analyst will support the development of creative and marketing strategy, contributing to positioning, messaging, visual identity, as well as GTM and customer insight approaches for critical SBS product and feature launches. They will be instrumental in providing management and oversight of the implementation of creative and marketing strategies by working closely with Product, Marketing, and other launch-focused stakeholders to bring best-in-class customer experiences to life. This person will also support some of the foundational operations of the team including owning agency relationships, managing team budget, third party-management, and resource organization.

  • Go-to-Market Planning & Execution: Support the development and execution of end-to-end go-to-market strategies for new product launches, product enhancements, and strategic business initiatives, ensuring alignment across stakeholders, timelines, and launch objectives
  • Build Strong Relationships: Build and maintain strong partnerships across Product, Marketing, Analytics, Finance, Risk, Legal, Compliance, and other key stakeholders to drive alignment, influence decision-making, and ensure successful launch execution
  • Stakeholder Communications & Alignment: Drive stakeholder engagement and execution by leading recurring forums, facilitating cross-functional discussions, documenting key decisions and action items, and maintaining centralized resources that improve transparency, alignment, and project delivery across internal teams and external agency partners
  • Launch Readiness & Governance: Monitor launch readiness across workstreams by tracking key milestones, risks, dependencies, and stakeholder deliverables, proactively identifying and resolving issues that may impact successful execution
  • Drive Business Operations and Strategic Enablement: Manage key team operating processes including third-party relationship management (TRM), agency SOWs, risk assessments, meeting cadences, team finances, and project tracking to ensure seamless execution and strong governance across strategic initiatives.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance launch governance, operating processes, and team effectiveness through scalable frameworks, standardized workflows, and continuous process improvement initiatives
  • Contribute to the development of GTM best practices, playbooks, and operational frameworks
  • 2+ years of related experience 
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable business recommendations and create a compelling story
  • Demonstrated ability to build productive and strong relationships with stakeholders and manage priorities across multiple workstreams
  • Strong ability to establish structure in complex environments through effective planning, prioritization, documentation, and follow-through
  • Experience working in highly matrixed organizations and managing cross-functional initiatives. 
  • Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Proactive and creative problem solver who can anticipate and solve challenges autonomously
  • Highly effective communicator with strong interpersonal, oral and written communication skills and the poise to influence and collaborate across a diverse global organization
  • Have a “can do,” positive attitude and the willingness to pivot and thrive in the face of change quickly
  • Self-motivated and ambitious with a passion to work in a high performing environment
  • Bachelor's degree

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Experience supporting product launches or go-to-market strategies the B2B space
  • Ability to drive clarity in white space and remain resilient in a face paced changing environment
