Responsibilities
Peraton is seeking a Systems Engineer to lead end-to-end systems engineering efforts - from researching and documenting SIGINT findings to developing system requirements, guiding analytics implementation, and producing DoDAF-compliant architectures. You will work closely with Cryptologic Intelligence Analysts (CRIAs) and Target Digital Network Analysts (TDNAs). What You'll Do:Research SIGINT datasets relevant to the mission; document findings and translate them into system requirement specifications for implementation in analytics and knowledge basesLead and guide systems engineering efforts for digital network analysis functions, including requirements elicitation, functional allocation, and end-to-end flow analysisDevelop operational view (OV), technical standards view (TV), and systems & services view (SV) architectures in accordance with DoDAF standardsSupport fingerprinting/schema development, Lenses functionality, and CRIA/TDNA Persona capabilitiesDesign and develop comprehensive Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) solutionsConduct and approve end-to-end system trade analyses to optimize performance, cost, and lifecycle balance across non-functional requirementsDevelop system design alternatives weighing lifecycle cost, reuse, complexity, risk, and growth potentialApply validated models, simulations, and prototyping to mitigate risk and reduce development costLead risk management activities — develop courses of action, workarounds, and fallback positions; monitor risks using Earned Value Management (EVM) dataSupport Analysis of Alternatives (AoA) efforts; recommend preferred solutions based on technology constraints, environmental impact, and lifecycle costOversee configuration management across hardware, software, and documentation throughout the system lifecycle; serve as a member of the Configuration Control Board (CCB)Provide technical direction for development, integration, and testing of complex hardware/software systems, including interface standards and concept of operations (CONOPS) development #MDFSP
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:14 years of Systems Engineering experience on programs of similar scope, type, and complexityDemonstrated experience planning and leading Systems Engineering efforts at the program levelBachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or a related disciplineAdditional 4 years of SE experience may be substituted in lieu of degreeActive TS/SCI clearance with polygraph requiredPreferred Qualifications:Familiarity with SIGINT tradecraft and digital network analysis methodologiesExperience working alongside Cryptologic Intelligence Analysts (CRIAs) or Target Digital Network Analysts (TDNAs)Prior experience on intelligence community programs with similar mission scope Benefits:Peraton offers enhanced benefits to employees supporting this critical National Security program, which include heavily subsidized employee benefits coverage for you and your dependents, and eligibility to participate in an attractive bonus plan.
