Accountabilities:
- Collaborate with technical leadership and development teams to design and deploy scalable AI and machine learning architectures.
- Develop, train, maintain, and optimize AI models, data pipelines, integrations, and AI-powered services.
- Build and prototype applications using large language models, intelligent agents, automation workflows, and AI orchestration frameworks.
- Experiment with emerging AI technologies including LLMs, embeddings, vector databases, and advanced AI development tools.
- Define AI architecture standards, governance practices, and best practices for reliable AI implementation.
- Translate business objectives into actionable AI engineering initiatives and technical solutions.
- Design highly available, scalable systems deployed across cloud environments such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.
- Create technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and deployment guidelines to support future scaling.
- Participate in code reviews, mentor developers, and promote engineering excellence and innovation.
- Stay current with evolving AI frameworks, APIs, and industry trends to identify opportunities for improvement.
- 10+ years of professional software development experience.
- 3+ years of experience building or designing AI and machine learning systems.
- Strong programming skills in Python, C#, or similar languages.
- Hands-on experience with large language models, embeddings, vector databases, and prompt orchestration.
- Experience with AI and ML frameworks such as OpenAI, Anthropic, Hugging Face, LangChain, Semantic Kernel, or similar technologies.
- Experience developing and integrating APIs, data pipelines, and AI inference services.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms and scalable application architecture.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Ability to combine hands-on engineering with high-level system design and strategic planning.
- Curiosity and commitment to staying current with emerging AI technologies and development practices.
