Our employees are not only part of history, but they’re also making history.Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems has an opening for a Sr. Principal Engineer Electronics – Mission Processing to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals at our Melbourne, FL site.Must possess in-depth knowledge of computers and electronics for mission processing, displays data storage, Networks, CDS/MLS, Crypto and experience in the definition, design, integration, test, and certification of related hardware and software requirements and will be responsible for one or more of the following:Interpret, allocate, tailor, write and flow down requirements to all levels of a system architectureDesign and develop computer, network and system models and architectures, define interface requirements, perform hardware integration and testing, requirements analysis and collaborate with Integrated Product TeamsConduct Trade studies, documenting subsystem architectures, analyzing performance, and evaluating Technology Readiness Level (TRL) regarding supplier current and future products offeringsJob Responsibilities:Document designs using detailed schematics, diagrams and specificationsCollaborate with engineers and program stakeholders to integrate mission management subsystems to meet platform mission objectivesTechnical management of program strategic partners and suppliers, including development, acquisition, acceptance, qualification, system integration and test supportDeveloping supplier documentation, performance-based specifications, and statements of workBuilding supplier evaluation criteria and experience in conducting technical evaluations, documenting results and selectionReview documents from the supplier’s development effort and support supplier technical interchange meetings and design reviewsBasic Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline from an accredited university and 8 years of related professional/military experience in Engineering, or...
