Migration Project Manager

Our culture of growth and empathy focuses on your long-term career development while valuing your unique skills and experiences. **Your role and responsibilities** As a Project Manager: Cloud Migration, you will lead a project team to deliver a solution to the client as per the terms and conditions of the project, according to the SOW/contract. You will be responsible for managing scope, cost, schedule, and contractual deliverables. Your primary responsibilities will include: • Manage Project Scope and Deliverables: Lead the project team to deliver the solution as per the SOW/contract, ensuring that all scope, cost, schedule, and contractual deliverables are met. • Apply Project Management Techniques: Utilize project management techniques and approaches like Garage Method for Cloud, Design Thinking, Agile Delivery Model, and Continuous Modernization to drive project success. • Lead Modernization Delivery Team: Interface with the Client PM and other stakeholders to ensure seamless delivery of the modernization project. • Ensure Contractual Compliance: Manage the project to ensure compliance with the terms and conditions of the SOW/contract. • Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work closely with the client and other stakeholders to ensure that their needs are met and that the project is delivered to their satisfaction. **Required technical and professional expertise** • Cloud Migration Experience: Exposure to cloud migration projects, including experience with at least one cloud platform such as IBM Cloud, AWS, Azure, RedHat OpenShift, or Google. • Modernization Techniques: Experience working with modernization techniques like continuous modernization, co-existence architecture, refactor, containerization, APIs, Microservices creation, language conversion, and Database conversion. • Application Component Knowledge: Understanding of application components such as System of Engagement (SOE), System of Insight (SOI), System of Integration (SOI), and System of Records (SOR). • Project Management Approach: Exposure to project management techniques and approaches like Garage Method for Cloud, Design Thinking, Agile Delivery Model, and Continuous Modernization. • Technical Delivery Experience: Experience in delivering technical projects, including managing scope, cost, schedule, and contractual deliverables. **Preferred technical and professional experience** • Cloud Platform Familiarity: Exposure to multiple cloud platforms such as IBM Cloud, AWS, Azure, RedHat OpenShift, or Google, with experience in delivering projects on at least one of these platforms. • Advanced Modernization Techniques: Experience working with modernization techniques like continuous modernization, co-existence architecture, refactor, containerization, APIs, Microservices creation, language conversion, and Database conversion. • Application Component Expertise: In-depth understanding of application components such as System of Engagement (SOE), System of Insight (SOI), System of Integration (SOI), and System of Records (SOR).
