VAElkton, MDMcLean, VADulles, VALinthicum, MDPromontory, UTThis is a hybrid position. It is not a virtual/telecommuting position. No relocation will be provided. This position’s standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.Roles and responsibilities for this role include:Providing guidance and interpretation of USG regulations, including the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), Export Administration Regulations (EAR), Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (BATFE), Anti-boycott Regulations, US Census and Customs Regulations.Working with various functional areas (Contracts, Supply Chain Management, Program Management, Engineering, New Business, etc.) to determine their export/import needsPreparing and submitting necessary export/import authorization requests required to support international programs and managing all post approval activities such as recordkeeping, reporting requirements, approvals for data exports and international shipping authorizations.Assisting Global Trade Manager to develop and implement appropriate strategies to meet business requirements and ensure full compliance with all regulatory agencies.Formally presenting in meetings, training environments and responding to questions from management, employees, customers and vendors related to...
