YOUR ROLE
As a Resource Manager, you will be responsible for driving workforce planning, resource forecasting, and cost management activities across the engineering organization. You will collaborate closely with business leaders, engineering management, finance, HR, and other stakeholders to ensure accurate resource allocation, optimize utilization, and support strategic business objectives. This role requires a strong service mindset, advanced analytical capabilities, and the ability to influence stakeholders across a global environment.
· Drive the adoption and continuous improvement of global resource planning and cost containment processes and tools.
· Ensure accurate resource forecasts, project assignments, and engineering cost inputs are maintained and aligned across business functions.
· Conduct regular resource reviews with engineering leadership, finance teams, and key stakeholders to identify risks, gaps, and optimization opportunities.
· Analyze complex datasets and workforce trends using advanced Excel and forecasting tools to support business decision-making.
· Partner with global teams to improve resource utilization, rationalize organizational structures, and enhance planning accuracy.
YOUR BACKGROUND
· 8+ years of experience in resource planning, workforce planning, engineering operations, cost management, or similar roles.
· Strong analytical mindset with advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including handling complex datasets, advanced formulas, analytical functions, reporting, and data analysis.
· Knowledge of forecasting methodologies, resource management tools, and fundamental finance principles.
· Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with a strong service-oriented approach.
· Demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional teams and build strong internal relationships.
· High level of analytical thinking, problem-solving capability, and attention to detail.
· Curious, proactive, and committed to continuous improvement.
· Knowledge of Product Development Processes is preferred.
