We are seeking candidates who model our values: invest in every relationship, lead with curiosity, champion diverse perspectives, turn inputs into actions, and uphold trust through integrity. Skills and CompetenciesMust have 7+ years of experience working on enterprise-scale applications.Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts, software design patterns and architectural principles. Experience working with microservices, distributed and event-driven architectures.Expert-level programming knowledge in Java.Proficient in Spring Boot framework for building micro-services.Must be highly proficient in concurrent and multi-threaded programming.Expertise in relational DBMS, preferably Oracle PL/SQL.Hands on experience with container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.Experience working on Linux-based distributions (CentOS / RHEL).Extensive hands-on experience with major cloud platforms, particularly AWS and familiarity with cloud-native services.Working knowledge of a scripting language such as Python is a plus.Experience with NoSQL databases such as Elasticsearch or MongoDB is a plus.Experience with big data frameworks such as Apache Storm or Spark is a significant plus.Proven ability to lead and mentor junior developers, fostering a culture of technical excellence. Ability to learn quickly and work independently.Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues efficiently.Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, with a proven track record of effective teamwork.Familiarity with artificial intelligence coding assistants, such as Cursor and GitHub Copilot to boost productivity and efficiency.Education Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field is required.ResponsibilitiesAs the Senior Software Engineer within the Asset Management technology teams, you will collaborate with global colleagues to develop and enhance our leading products in the Structured Finance area.
