Now Hiring: Maintenance Engineer
Location: La Porte, TX
We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Engineer to support plant maintenance, mechanical integrity, and reliability processes within a Process Safety Management (PSM) manufacturing environment.
This role will be responsible for maintaining equipment reliability, ensuring compliance with industry standards, improving maintenance processes, and partnering with plant teams to drive operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
• Implement maintenance, mechanical integrity, and reliability programs using RAGAGEP procedures and best practices
• Ensure compliance with OSHA Process Safety Management (PSM) Mechanical Integrity requirements
• Serve as a key contact for internal and external compliance audits
• Develop maintenance programs, procedures, and training to support regulatory and operational standards
• Maintain equipment design records, preventive maintenance documentation, and equipment files
• Review preventive maintenance inspections and provide engineering recommendations for equipment improvements
• Monitor PM completion status, manage documentation, and support reliability initiatives
• Coordinate and communicate preventive maintenance activities, reporting, and process improvements
• Collaborate with maintenance, operations, and engineering teams to improve equipment performance
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in maintenance, mechanical integrity, or reliability engineering
• Experience working in a PSM-covered facility preferred
• Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
• Ability to communicate effectively with teams at all levels
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and maintenance management systems (SAP, Oracle, Maximo, Chempax, or similar platforms)
