Job Summary
 

The Services Go to Market Switzerland Team (Red Hat EMEA) is looking for an organized and detail-oriented associate​ to join us in our fast-paced environment. In this role, you will follow detailed instructions and standardized procedures to complete assigned tasks and meet deadlines. The role involves coordinating technology-based projects ensuring tasks are delivered following routine procedures. You will work under direct supervision to assist in supporting project management activities, focusing on the development of fundamental project management skills and understanding cross-functional processes, revenue forecasting as well as invoicing processes.

Note: This role may come into contact with confidential or sensitive customer information requiring special treatment in accordance with Red Hat policies and applicable privacy laws.


What you will do:

  • Support the delivery of customer engagements by coordinating project activities, schedules, and team touchpoints.

  • Track milestones, risks, issues, and dependencies using Red Hat project governance standards.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including status reports, action logs, RAID logs, and meeting summaries.

  • Assist senior project managers with project planning tasks such as resource coordination, timeline updates, and project forecasting.

  • Prepare and distribute internal and customer-facing updates to ensure stakeholders are informed and aligned.

  • Support the organization of workshops, design sessions, and technical delivery checkpoints with consultants and architects.
    Ensure that project artifacts (HLDs, LLDs, test results, acceptance documents, etc.) are stored and structured according to Red Hat delivery guidelines.

  • Follow established delivery methodologies and processes to ensure consistency and quality across engagements.

  • Help monitor project financials by tracking hours, burn rate, and consumption under the guidance of senior PMs or management.

  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams — Services, Sales, Support, and Partners — to enable smooth execution of project tasks.

  • Contribute to continuous improvement by capturing lessons learned and supporting retrospective sessions.

  • Escalate blockers early and assist in resolving basic issues by working closely with delivery leadership.

  • Provide general administrative and operational support to the project delivery team.
     

What you will bring:

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • High level of organization, attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

  • Interest in delivery excellence, process improvement, and structured ways of working.

  • Familiarity with project management tools and frameworks (Agile, waterfall, hybrid).

  • Ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment.

  • Comfortable using Red Hat or similar tools such as Salesforce, Google Workspace (especially Google sheets), Smartsheet, or equivalent.

  • A collaborative mindset with willingness to support teammates and contribute to shared success.

  • BS/BA or equivalent experience required; PMI or Agile fundamentals certifications are a plus.

  • Excellent written and verbal language skills in German and English
