Accountabilities:

    • Analyze credit policy performance, including approval rates, decisioning distributions, cutoff effectiveness, and tiering strategies.
    • Monitor portfolio credit performance across segments, vintages, and cohorts, tracking delinquency, default trends, and origination quality.
    • Conduct approval rate vs. loss tradeoff analysis to inform risk appetite, profitability, and underwriting strategy decisions.
    • Support pricing and terms optimization by evaluating APR structures, fees, and product-level risk-adjusted returns.
    • Monitor credit models and scorecards, including performance metrics such as Gini, KS, and rank-ordering stability.
    • Assist in model validation, back-testing, and feature analysis to support ongoing model enhancements.
    • Partner cross-functionally with finance, collections, fraud, and technology teams to ensure aligned metrics and data-driven decision-making.
    • Requirements:

      • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, or a related quantitative field.
      • 3–5+ years of experience in credit risk analytics, underwriting analytics, or portfolio analytics (consumer lending strongly preferred).
      • Strong proficiency in SQL and Python (or R) within a professional analytics environment.
      • Experience with credit policy analysis, vintage analysis, approval rate monitoring, and/or loss forecasting.
      • Familiarity with credit scorecards, model performance monitoring, and underwriting decisioning systems.
      • Strong understanding of consumer lending products and key credit risk metrics.
      • Experience supporting A/B testing, experiments, or scenario-based analysis is highly desirable.
      • Excellent analytical thinking with the ability to translate data insights into actionable business recommendations.
