Role responsibilities
The Environmental Health Specialist performs a variety of professional duties related to the inspection and enforcement of environmental health programs. This includes promoting public health through inspections, permitting, and providing education and technical assistance.
Requirements
Candidates must have a bachelor's degree in a related field and three years of professional experience in public health and environmental laws. A valid registration as a Registered Environmental Health Specialist in California is required.
