About the role
As a Team Manager for Financial Crime Operations Escalations, you will manage a highly engaged group of analysts performing Post Transaction Monitoring, Sanctions and PEP Screening, Anti-Money Laundering, and Counter-Terrorist Financing reviews.
You will be able to identify areas for improvement in the team and encourage your colleagues to come up with ideas to improve the way we work in Financial Crime Operations to help both our customers and employees.
As a member of the Zepz Operations team you will aim high, embrace challenges and always do what’s right; acting with integrity and building trust as you contribute to the company’s technical direction and long term decision making.
What you will own
Help make data-driven decisions on new processes and ways of working and identifying and recommending enhancements, improvements, and other opportunities.
Work with stakeholders across the business on Financial Crime initiatives.
Engage with senior stakeholders to ensure the team supports company decisions and processes.
Be responsible for the people management of your team, including absences, holidays and general individual KPIs. As well as monitoring individual performance to ensure they are adhering to Zepz values.
Manage regular performance reviews to ensure individual, team and company targets are achieved.
Ensure that all tasks are being completed within expected parameters including your individual team and the team as a whole including output and quality.
Encourage your team to take ownership of their tasks to ensure they and the team are performing as expected.
Adhere to and comply with all applicable laws, regulations and guidance, including those related to Anti-Money Laundering and Compliance, as well as adhering to company policies and procedures.

From time to time you may be required to carry out additional duties in order to support the business needs.
What we are looking for from you
Experience at working in Compliance and/or Fraud in an international banking or payments environment.
Knowledge of dealing with customer enhanced due diligence and screening, post transaction monitoring and suspicious activity investigation.
