Accountabilities:
- Build and deliver high-quality Android features using Kotlin, ensuring smooth, reliable, and scalable mobile experiences for end users.
- Design and implement clean user flows across financial services such as insurance, payments, claims, and renewals in collaboration with product and design teams.
- Integrate and maintain backend APIs while ensuring secure, stable, and well-performing mobile interactions.
- Continuously improve application performance, including crash rate reduction, memory optimization, responsiveness, and loading efficiency.
- Use analytics, user behavior data, and production feedback to identify issues and enhance product experience.
- Contribute to the development of modern, maintainable Android architecture using best practices and scalable design patterns.
- 3+ years of experience in Android development with strong proficiency in Kotlin.
- Proven experience shipping production-grade mobile applications with strong Android fundamentals.
- Solid understanding of modern Android development tools and frameworks such as Jetpack, Coroutines, Flow, and contemporary architecture patterns.
- Strong focus on mobile UX, usability, and attention to edge cases and real-world user behavior.
- Experience working with REST APIs and debugging production issues in live environments.
- High ownership mindset with the ability to work in fast-paced environments and deliver with speed and quality.
- Strong English communication skills and ability to collaborate in global, distributed teams.
