Product Manager
Use your knowledge of customers, applications, the industry, and the competitive landscape to identify and pursue opportunities to grow Solstice Advanced Materials Mobile AC business across the APAC region. Operating at the intersection of technology, marketing, and commercial strategy, you will translate the technical strengths of our HFO refrigerant portfolio into clear value propositions, shape market positioning, and develop the strategies needed to win new customers in current and emerging segments. Working in a 3-in-a-box approach with sales and technology, you will build a deep understanding of why customers buy, lead ideation and concept validation to drive growth in new segments, initiate and build strategic customer relationships, and identify potential mergers or acquisitions, joint ventures, and other strategic alliances.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Establish yourself as the Mobile AC technical and market reference in APACI, and identify and engage early adopters of HFO refrigerant technology.
- Develop the New Product Introduction (NPI) roadmap for your region and deliver on your NPI commitments.
- Investigate, recommend, and facilitate the formation of strong relationships with distributors and strategic customers.
- Define and deploy the strategic plan to win in the target segments, developing a deep understanding of stakeholders’ unmet needs and of the market and technology trends shaping these needs today and in the future, and identify the resulting opportunities for growth.
- Collaborate closely with Product Management and Engineering to translate customer and market insight into product requirements, help shape objectives for future R&D opportunities, and support building the Offering Roadmap and the business case for investment.
- Partner with Customer Marketing to convert the strategic growth plans into market positioning, value-based messaging, practical sales playbooks, effective demand generation activities, and technical value-selling content.
- Collaborate with Leadership, support target account plan and STRAP development, lead an effective business development management operating system (MOS), and drive prioritization of business opportunities and available internal resources.
- Maintain a fact base on regulatory drivers, competitor offerings, and technology trends, and translate it into market insight and recommendations that guide growth decisions.
YOU MUST HAVE
- 10+ years of professional experience in a business development, product management, technical marketing, or applications engineering role within the Automotive industry or adjacent industries such as specialty chemicals, refrigerants, or thermal management.
- A proven track record of translating technical solutions into customer and market value, demonstrated through one or more of the following: developing value propositions, defining product or market positioning, deployment of industrial projects on a global scale, management and coordination of automotive project teams at Tier Ones for one or more global automotive OEMs.

- Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, electrical, or mechanical engineering. A combination of technical and commercial credentials, such as an engineering or science degree complemented by a marketing qualification or an MBA, is highly valued.
- The ability to grasp complex technical concepts, including refrigerant chemistry, thermal systems, and the regulatory drivers behind HFO adoption, and to communicate them clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong marketing acumen, including experience with value proposition development, market segmentation, positioning, and demand generation.
- Strong passion to win, excellent influencing skills, market awareness and a sound business acumen.
- Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment, where teamwork is key to high performance.
- High emotional intelligence and ability to create a motivating collaborative environment.
- Effective written, verbal, and listening skills in English at all levels of the organization; proficiency in an additional regional language is an asset.
