Accountabilities:

    • Review architectural, structural, civil, and MEP drawings to identify coordination issues, missing information, scope gaps, and constructability risks.
    • Prepare and structure trade-specific RFPs, bid packages, subcontractor scope sheets, and clear documentation for procurement processes.
    • Source subcontractors and vendors, manage bid distribution, track follow-ups, and ensure timely submission of competitive proposals.
    • Perform bid leveling, evaluate exclusions and qualifications, and support leadership with clear award recommendations.
    • Support cost validation through market benchmarking, historical data, subcontractor input, and material pricing analysis.
    • Identify value engineering opportunities that optimize cost, schedule, and execution feasibility without compromising quality.
    • Draft RFIs and coordinate clarifications with designers, consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams.
    • Maintain structured documentation including budgets, procurement logs, risk registers, and handoff packages for field execution.
    • As responsibilities expand, support active projects with RFIs, submittals, change orders, procurement tracking, and project controls.
    • Requirements:

      • 5+ years of experience in construction preconstruction, estimating, project engineering, or project management.
      • Strong ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and multi-trade scopes of work.
      • Proven experience preparing bid packages, performing scope analysis, and identifying coordination gaps.
      • Knowledge of budgeting, procurement processes, scheduling, RFIs, submittals, and construction documentation workflows.
      • Strong written communication skills for RFIs, reports, subcontractor communication, and leadership summaries.
      • Ability to work independently in a remote environment while staying organized, responsive, and detail-oriented.
      • Experience with construction tools such as Bluebeam, Procore, Autodesk Construction Cloud, or estimating platforms is a plus.
      • Familiarity with commercial construction, tenant improvements, renovations, or ground-up projects is highly valued.
