Picture yourself brightening someone’s day. When you join our Hotels team, that’s exactly what you’ll do every time you come to work! You will be delivering a variety of spa treatments to hotel guests, including massages, facials, body treatments, and other wellness services. You will assess guest needs and tailor treatments to ensure each guest leaves feeling relaxed, revitalized, and satisfied. As a Therapist, you’re not just providing professional massages and body treatments – you’re spreading the light and warmth of hospitality by delivering memorable experiences that make the stay for every guest.
Here’s what you’ll do during a typical day:
Deliver a wide range of treatments, including massages, facials, and beauty services, as outlined in the spa menu.
Recommend and retail skincare products to guests, complete consultation forms accurately, and maintain treatment rooms to the highest standards in line with spa guidelines.
Handle special guest requests, including preferences for therapists and treatment methods.
Follow a customer-first approach by promptly attending to guest needs and ensuring a positive experience.
Show empathy and intuition, especially when supporting guests during special occasions or celebrations.
Communicate effectively with guests and colleagues, take responsibility, and proactively solve problems while remaining flexible to changing work requirements.
Collaborate as a supportive team player, helping colleagues achieve shared goals.
Adhere to departmental operating procedures and suggest improvements to facilities and operations when appropriate.
Ensure all spa, fitness, and hotel activities meet Waldorf Astoria Brand standards.
Uphold service standards and participate in service quality reviews.
Provide guidance and hands-on support in training new employees, ensuring they understand their responsibilities and company protocols while fostering teamwork.
Oversee the smooth daily opening and closing of the spa.
Maintain cleanliness and organization in all work areas.
Maximize treatment room usage by ensuring efficient scheduling, cleaning rooms, and replacing towels after each session.
Supports spa reception operations and guest experience duties when required.

In addition, this role requires the following minimum qualifications:
- Certification in massage therapy, aesthetics, or other relevant spa treatments from a recognized institution.
- Previous experience as a spa therapist, preferably in a luxury or hotel setting.
- Strong understanding of different massage techniques, body treatments, and facials.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a guest-focused approach.
- Proficiency in English; additional languages are a plus.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
