Job Description:

Logistics Manager – Mexico

Job Summary

Lead logistics operations across Crown’s 7 manufacturing plants in Mexico, overseeing transportation, warehousing, inventory control, imports, exports, and distribution. This role is responsible for driving operational excellence, optimizing logistics costs, ensuring service levels, and developing a high-performing logistics organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and standardize logistics operations across multiple plants.
  • Manage transportation, warehousing, inventory, and distribution processes.
  • Monitor and improve KPIs related to cost, inventory accuracy, on-time delivery, safety, and customer satisfaction.
  • Negotiate and manage third-party logistics providers and strategic contracts.
  • Develop and control logistics budgets (Opex and Capex).
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives and digital transformation projects.
  • Develop team capabilities and foster a culture of accountability and operational discipline.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in logistics or supply chain management within a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience managing multi-site operations and large logistics budgets.
  • Strong knowledge of transportation, warehousing, inventory management, and international logistics.
  • Advanced leadership, negotiation, and analytical skills.
  • Advanced English proficiency.
