Job Description
- BAE Systems has a program to provide a wide range of support services to the Pacific Missile Range Facility in Barking Sands on the island of Kauai, Hawaii. The Budget Analyst develops budget formulations, ensures all financial activities comply with DoW policies and instructions, and manages daily and monthly financial tracking, reporting, and billables.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
- Required Education, Experience, and Skills: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business.
- Experience in high-level budget formulation and projection.
- Proficiency in Oracle-based financial software. Ability to perform granular data reporting by JON, FSU, and WAC.
- Develops the Program Objective Memorandum (POM) proposal and the Program Financial Support Plan.
- Develops and tracks Annual Budget.
- Develop and execute a comprehensive Program Financial Support Plan.
- Ensures all activities comply with the DoD Financial Management Regulation (FMR) and DoD Instruction 7000.14.
- Analyze financial data and generate recurring financial reports such as monthly accrual reports and mission expenditure reports
- Support data calls and audits from funding sponsors
- Responsible for generating Monthly Budget Reports, calculating Estimates to Complete (ETC), and processing timecard and Other Direct Cost (ODC) billables.
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
- Experience with Navy financial systems. Proficiency in advanced Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs) for financial trend analysis.
- Specific experience with MRTFB (Major Range Test Facility Base) POM preparation.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Government Financial Manager (CGFM) designation.
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $82779 - $140723

However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
