Fully interact with the site sourcing, supplier quality engineering (SQE) and buyer to identify supplier development opportunities and define programs that optimize supplier performance. Actively drive productivity, working capital, lead time reduction, hedging, eSourcing and other key activities required to maximize the financial contribution. Supporting Sourcing Metrics analysis to facilitate each Commodity’s AOP achievement and strategy deployment.
Support Commodity manager to build and execute commodity strategies
- Conduct the market researches to understand supply market dynamics and provide market insights
- Develop commodity strategy for plastic to align with business strategy.
- Sponsor cross-function teamwork in order to effectively execute commodity strategies
- Select and manage required suppliers who have the capacity and capability to meet the material needs of the business
Support Productivity/Working Capital Analysis
- Plan and execute supplier negotiations to obtain best-in-class pricing, terms and conditions
- Establish a continuous project deck pipeline and conduct regular reviews to deliver to an Annual Operating Plan (AOP)
- Implement practices to enable technology-driven processes including e-Auctions of major spend opportunities.
- Actively work together with global Sourcing co-workers to leverage Honeywell spending to extract benefits for the company.
Support NPI projects management
- Support NPI sourcing using a collaborative approach to ensure that project targets are met regarding schedule, cost, quality and other key measures
Improve operational effectiveness and efficiency
- Deploy standardized sourcing processes working together with site sourcing, SQE/buyer
- Continuously seek opportunities to improve process efficiency and effectiveness through Lean initiatives and standardized work
Support sites operations globally
- Support site issues regarding supplier delivery, quality, pricing etc.
YOU MUST HAVE
- Undergraduate degree and some experience in Supply Management / Sourcing / Procurement and leading projects
