What you'll do
- Work together with business to find pragmatic solutions for our customer needs
- Write clean and maintainable code and will participate in code reviews
- Designing and exposing data products as a first-class engineering concern
- Collaborating with ML engineers to integrate intelligent capabilities like pricing recommendations and demand forecasting
- With your team you collaboratively own the entire DevOps lifecycle from specification to running in production and keep an eye on our business numbers as well
Who you are
- Several years of professional experience as a Java developer (Java11+), Spring/ Spring Boot/ Linux
- You speak HTTP and REST like your native language
- Good knowledge of SQL ideally also noSQL databases
- Experience with Apache Kafka (Elasticsearch would be a phenomenal plus)
- You worked in cross-functional teams and know that responsibility does not end with deployment
- Proficient in English. German language skills is a plus
