We're looking for a TECHNICAL PROGRAM MANAGER to join our team!

As a Senior Technical Program Manager, you are accountable for the successful delivery execution, orchestration and governance of complex programs or high risk, highly coordinated bodies of work, often spanning multiple teams or product areas or sub domain. You own program level planning, sequencing and dependency management, ensuring delivery remains on track against agreed outcomes, timelines and budgets. You also proactively manage delivery risks, surface constraints and act as a point of escalation, providing clear visibility and confidence to senior stakeholders.

Working day-to-day with Engineering, Product and Delivery colleagues, you ensure that work is integrated, progress is transparent, and delivery issues are resolved swiftly and you role model strong delivery practice, coaching TPMs and contributing to the maturity of the Delivery / TPM community.

Note: Depending on the project and our clients' needs, you may get the chance to pack your bags and take off every now and then. Typically, we estimate travel time to be between 0% and 15%.

Key responsibilities:

    • Program Execution: Own the successful execution of complex technology programs or high risk coordinated work, often spanning multiple teams ensuring our client's standards, best practices and governance are consistently applied.
    • Deliver against agreed scope, milestones, timelines and budgets, providing confidence in outcomes.
    • Lead program level sequencing and roadmap planning, ensuring integrated delivery across teams,  based on product and technical roadmaps owned by Product and Engineering.
    • Actively manage dependencies, risks and issues, escalating blockers and decisions as required.
    • Manage the transition of programs into business as usual, ensuring appropriate service management is in place and handover to the operators 
    • Delivery Transparency & Control: Provide clear, data led visibility of program progress, delivery health and emerging risks to stakeholders.
    • Support financial tracking and spend visibility at program level.
    • Strengthen delivery discipline across teams, reinforcing agile planning, cadence and execution practices.
    • Where required, line manage and develop TPMs, embedding strong delivery discipline and continuous improvement within the team and creating a high performance team culture.
    • Coach and support TPMs and contribute to the development of the TPM community.

Requirements

    • Program level delivery execution experience, leading complex, multi-team or high risk technology initiatives end-to-end. 
    • Strong sequencing, planning and coordination capability, integrating delivery across teams and product areas. 
    • A technical background in software development is required and a good understanding of software architecture.
    • Experience of applying and managing the right levels of governance and leading relevant forums.
    • Advanced dependency, risk and issue management, with confidence to escalate and drive resolution. 
    • Delivery tracking and transparency skills, providing clear, data led visibility of progress, risks and outcomes. 
    • Strong stakeholder management, building trust through predictable delivery and effective communication. 
    •  Financial tracking and delivery awareness, supporting budget control and valuedriven decisions. 
    • Agile and DevOps delivery expertise, enabling delivery flow while maintaining discipline. 
    • Coaching and mentoring capability, supporting TPMs and contributing to delivery maturity. 
    • Problem solving mindset, able to simplify complexity into executable plans. 
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.  Clear, calm communicator, especially under delivery pressure.
