Independent Contractor – CPT-11297 Video Editing & Social Media Virtual Assistant/Marketing VA/Entry-Senior Level (Remote).

Overview

20four7VA is seeking offshore independent contractors to deliver remote services to clients worldwide, with a primary focus on developed markets such as the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, and Australia.

We are looking for a creative and organized Video Editing & Social Media Virtual Assistant to support our growing online presence. The ideal candidate will be responsible for editing engaging video content, scheduling social media posts, and helping maintain a consistent posting schedule across multiple social media platforms.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys content creation, has an eye for detail, and wants to grow their skills in digital marketing and social media management.

The objective of each engagement is to assist the client in improving business efficiency, enhancing service delivery, or supporting operational functions through high-quality, task-specific services rendered by a qualified contractor.

Scope of Services

Contractors will be required to provide services that align with the following client tasks:

Video Editing

  • Edit short-form and long-form video content for social media platforms.
  • Add captions, transitions, music, graphics, and basic motion effects as needed.
  • Trim and format videos to meet platform-specific requirements.
  • Ensure all content aligns with the company's branding and style guidelines.
  • Export videos in the appropriate formats for each platform.

Social Media Management

  • Schedule and publish content across the company's social media platforms.
  • Maintain the content calendar and ensure consistent posting.
  • Upload videos, captions, hashtags, and media assets.
  • Organize content files and maintain an organized media library.
  • Monitor scheduled posts to ensure successful publishing.

Content Organization

  • Maintain organized folders for videos, graphics, and marketing assets.
  • Coordinate content delivery with the business owner or marketing team.
  • Assist with simple content planning and scheduling.
  • Keep track of completed, scheduled, and upcoming content.

Administrative Support

  • Maintain posting schedules and content trackers.
  • Assist with basic reporting on posted content.
  • Perform other administrative tasks related to content management as assigned


    Each engagement is based on a defined scope of work and is governed by an independent contractor agreement. Services must be performed professionally, with adherence to any timelines, guidelines, and deliverables agreed upon in writing.


    Skills

    The Contractor must demonstrate proficiency in the following, depending on the Client’s requirements:

    • Basic experience with video editing software.
    • Strong attention to detail and creativity.
    • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
    • Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple content pieces.
    • Good written English for reviewing captions and post descriptions.
    • Ability to work independently and follow established content guidelines.
    • Reliable internet connection and a computer capable of video editing.

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

    • Experience editing content for Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, or LinkedIn.
    • Familiarity with social media scheduling platforms.
    • Basic knowledge of social media best practices.
    • Experience creating captions and formatting posts.
    • Basic graphic design skills using Canva are a plus.

    Work Schedule

    • Daily Working Time: TBD UK time zone

    Note: The Company will make reasonable efforts to align the Assigned VA’s schedule with the Client’s preferred hours as set forth above. However, availability may vary based on time zones, capacity, and the contracted hours set in this SOW. Any changes must be mutually agreed to in writing through a revised SOW.

    Terms of Engagement

    • Contractors will operate under a Master Services Agreement and a Statement of Work
    • This is not an offer of employment; contractors are not employees of 20four7VA or any client
    • All compensation is processed through 20four7VA according to the terms of the engagement
