About the Role
We're hiring a Line Lead to oversee the day-to-day operations of an assigned department while working alongside the team to meet production, quality, and safety goals. This role is the first point of contact for associates on the floor, providing leadership, training, coaching, and technical support to keep work running accurately and efficiently. The ideal candidate is dependable, mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, and ready to lead by example — including jumping into production whenever staffing or operational demands require.
What You'll Do
Leadership
- Lead, motivate, and support a team of warehouse associates
- Promote a positive, productive, and accountable work environment
- Assign daily work based on operational priorities and monitor productivity/quality throughout the shift
- Communicate production goals and department expectations; escalate concerns to management as needed
Training & Development
- Train new employees on department processes and work instructions
- Cross-train associates to improve department flexibility
- Coach employees on productivity, quality, and safety expectations
Operations
- Perform department duties while maintaining production standards
- Step into production when staffing shortages or workflow require support
- Troubleshoot operational issues and implement practical solutions
- Monitor workflow and adjust assignments to maximize efficiency
Quality
- Verify products are processed according to customer specifications
- Inspect work for accuracy and completeness; identify defects and discrepancies
- Maintain accurate documentation and inventory records
Safety
- Promote a safe working environment and ensure PPE/safety policy compliance
- Report unsafe conditions immediately and participate in safety meetings/investigations as needed
Communication
- Communicate effectively with supervisors, managers, and other departments
- Provide shift updates and report staffing, equipment, or quality concerns promptly
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Previous warehouse or manufacturing experience required
- Previous leadership, trainer, or lead experience preferred
- Strong attendance and reliability
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and follow work instructions

Physical Requirements
- Frequently stand and walk for 8–12 hours
- Lift up to 45 pounds; bend, twist, reach, and climb as necessary
- Operate warehouse equipment as authorized
- Work in varying warehouse temperatures; perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift
