Space is a warfighting domain. True Anomaly seeks those with the talent and ambition to build the technology that secures it.

OUR MISSION

True Anomaly delivers decisive capabilities for space superiority. We build autonomous spacecraft, advanced payloads, mission software, and space-based interceptors — enabling the U.S. and its Allies to secure the space environment and counter threats from the ultimate high ground.

OUR VALUES

  • Be the offset. We create asymmetric advantages with creativity and ingenuity.
  • What would it take? We challenge assumptions to deliver ambitious results.
  • It’s the people. Our team is our competitive advantage and we are better together.

YOUR MISSION

True Anomaly is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Senior Electrical Analyst to lead worst-case circuit analysis (WCCA) and derating activities across our spacecraft hardware programs. In this role, you will work closely with design engineers and subject matter experts to ensure our electrical systems meet rigorous military and industry standards, from early design through qualification and release. You bring deep analytical expertise, hands-on experience with advanced test and measurement equipment, and the ability to identify and resolve complex electrical issues with precision and clarity. As a senior contributor, you will also mentor junior engineers and drive continuous improvement of our electrical analysis processes and practices.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Conduct worst-case circuit analysis (WCCA) in compliance with military and industry standards (MIL, ASTM, TIA, EIA, etc.)
  • Conduct derating analysis per EEE-INST-002
  • Work with subject matter expert teams to review findings, update designs as needed, and release WCCA reports
  • Prepare and configure test equipment, materials, fixtures, and components to simulate real-world and idealized test conditions
  • Troubleshoot and analyze complex electronic systems using advanced tools such as oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, and time domain reflectometers
  • Accurately document test and analysis results, including observed defects and corrective actions, in clear and structured reports
  • Support root cause analysis and design verification efforts in the context of WCCA and broader system performance
  • Collaborate closely with engineering and customer teams to support product development and continuous improvement
  • Participate in all aspects of the product development lifecycle, from concept and requirements definition through product release and post-release support
  • Mentor junior engineers to improve design skill sets and increase capabilities within the organization
  • Continuously improve electrical engineering processes and practices to drive innovation and efficiency

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in WCCA, derating analysis, or related electrical analysis roles
  • Familiarity with environmental and electrical testing procedures and standards
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify and resolve complex issues
  • Effective communicator with experience working cross-functionally with engineering teams

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
  • Experience with spacecraft electrical system design and testing
  • Familiarity with spacecraft power systems, avionics, and communication subsystems
  • Knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to spacecraft electrical systems
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, startup environment or a similarly dynamic setting

COMPENSATION

  • Base Salary: $110,000-$165,000
  • Equity + Benefits including Health, Dental, Vision, HRA/HSA options, PTO and paid holidays, 401K, Parental Leave

Your actual level and base salary will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the following considerations: job-related knowledge and skills, education, location, and experience.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Ability to maintain or obtain TS//SCI clearance
  • Work Location: Successful candidates will be located near our Centennial, CO or Long Beach, CA locations. While we observe a hybrid work environment, some work must be done on site.
  • Work environment is in a standard office, working at a desk or in a production factory.
  • Physical demands may include frequent standing, sitting, walking, bending, and lifting or carrying items up to 20lbs.
