Accountabilities:
- Provide patient care support through digital healthcare platforms, assisting individuals with sleep-related conditions and treatment programs.
- Manage patient interactions related to conditions such as obstructive sleep apnea, insomnia, restless leg syndrome, and circadian rhythm disorders.
- Coordinate care activities by communicating with patients, healthcare professionals, and medical equipment teams to resolve questions and concerns.
- Provide behavioral support, education, and encouragement to help patients follow treatment plans and improve adherence.
- Respond to patient inquiries and requests in a timely, professional, and compassionate manner.
- Deliver exceptional customer service through phone communication, written correspondence, and patient interactions.
- Perform case management activities for new participants and ongoing care programs.
- Support medical triage processes and escalate clinical or technical issues according to established protocols.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient interactions and care activities.
- Collaborate with care teams and supervisors to improve patient support processes and outcomes.
- Complete additional projects and responsibilities as assigned by leadership.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent experience in healthcare, clinical support, or a related field.
- Experience working in a clinical setting or healthcare-focused customer service environment.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build trust and rapport with patients.
- Ability to provide empathetic, patient-focused support through phone and digital communication channels.
- Knowledge of operating and maintaining PAP (positive airway pressure) devices is preferred.
- Experience or familiarity with sleep health, sleep medicine, or related treatment programs is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple patient needs effectively.
- Ability to follow established healthcare protocols while using sound judgment when escalating issues.
- Comfortable working independently in a remote environment while collaborating with a healthcare team.
- Availability to work Monday through Friday from 12:30 PM to 9:00 PM EST, with occasional Saturdays.
- Fully remote position within the United States.
