Accountabilities:
- Act as a trusted technical advisor throughout the sales cycle by providing solution architecture, technical guidance, and pre-sales expertise to customers.
- Manage multiple concurrent sales engagements, balancing technical depth, responsiveness, prioritization, and deal progression.
- Lead customer engagements from discovery through solution design, technical validation, demonstrations, and proof-of-concept activities.
- Apply expertise across enterprise infrastructure, including data protection, virtualization, cloud environments, networking, security, and modern IT architectures.
- Explain the technical and business value of solutions, helping customers improve resilience, reduce risks, optimize costs, and achieve strategic objectives.
- Advise customers on data security, privacy, governance, and compliance considerations impacting enterprise technology decisions.
- Educate customers on emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence, machine learning, and large language models, demonstrating how trusted data enables innovation.
- Deliver compelling technical presentations, workshops, demonstrations, and discussions for audiences ranging from engineers to executive stakeholders.
- Collaborate with sales teams, channel partners, and technology alliances to advance opportunities and strengthen customer relationships.
- Support team development by sharing expertise, mentoring colleagues, and promoting technical best practices.
- 5+ years of experience in pre-sales systems engineering, solutions architecture, or similar customer-facing technical roles supporting commercial or enterprise customers.
- Proven experience managing complex sales cycles, including discovery, solution design, technical validation, and proof-of-concept execution.
- Strong understanding of enterprise infrastructure technologies, including data resilience, virtualization, cloud platforms, networking, and security.
- Ability to position technical solutions effectively by connecting customer challenges with measurable business outcomes.
- Experience with data security, governance, privacy, compliance, and enterprise IT strategy considerations.
- Foundational knowledge of artificial intelligence, machine learning, and large language models, with the ability to explain their role in modern data strategies.
- Strong presentation, communication, and relationship-building skills with experience engaging technical teams, architects, and senior decision-makers.
- Ability to work independently, demonstrate ownership, and make sound decisions in fast-moving environments.
- Collaborative mindset with experience partnering across sales, technical teams, channel organizations, and strategic partners.

- Experience with containerized and cloud-native application platforms, including Kubernetes environments.

- Understanding of cyber recovery strategies, ransomware resilience, isolated recovery environments, and data validation practices.
- Experience with data governance frameworks, classification models, retention policies, and compliance-driven protection strategies.

- Zone 1: $173,100 - $288,500 USD
- Zone 2: $158,700 - $264,400 USD
- Zone 3: $144,300 - $240,400 USD
- Zone 4: $125,500 - $209,200 USD
