What you’ll do

  • Build and grow long-term partnerships by understanding what matters most to our merchants—not just selling a product.
  • Navigate ambiguity and internal complexity to unlock revenue opportunities through tailored advertising and promotional solutions.
  • Adapt your consultative approach based on market dynamics and imperfect information to optimize merchant spend efficiency.
  • Collaborate across operations, marketing, and product teams to resolve blockers and drive adoption of new platform features.
  • Communicate clearly and stay resilient through tough negotiations, guiding merchants to improve conversion and reduce cancellations.
  • Lead the category growth by tracking data and following through on promises, even when the work gets messy.

 

Basic Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience, ideally in account management, consulting, sales, or growth marketing.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • Proficiency in data tools such as Excel, Google Sheets, or CRM platforms like Salesforce.
  • Proven experience analyzing data-driven insights to provide actionable business recommendations.
  • Ability to work in a location-generic capacity within the required region.

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in digital advertising, retail media networks, or programmatic marketing.
  • Background in the alcohol industry, e-commerce, or hospitality.
  • Systems thinking mindset with the ability to navigate cross-functional tension and influence without authority.
  • Resilience and a "go-get-it" attitude in high-stakes, fast-moving environments.

For San Francisco, CA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD $90,000 per year - USD $100,000 per year.

You will be eligible to participate in Uber's bonus program, and may be offered an equity award & other types of comp. All full-time employees are eligible to participate in a 401(k) plan. You will also be eligible for various benefits.
