Inspector I

Location: Anngrove

Contract: 12 Months

Shift: 24/7 (Rotation of 2 Days, 2 Nights, & 4 Days off)

Position Summary

Under general supervision undertake tasks related to the inspection (including incoming, in-process and final) and release of products manufactured within a GMP ISO13485 regulated environment.

What you will do:

Receiving Inspection:

  • Sample, Inspect and record inspection results according to relevant requirements for all received raw materials and components.
  • Control movements of materials into correct locations.
  • Control all necessary documentation i.e. DMRs, QT tickets, Certs. Of Conformance as appropriate.
  • Prepare and report appropriate performance metrics for the area.

In-Process Inspection:

  • Review manufacturing documentation for accuracy and completeness.
  • Control movement of non-conforming product within area.          
  • Prepare and report appropriate performance metrics for the area.

Final Inspection:

  • Review Work order documentation prior to shipment.

Product Release:

  • Complete Product Release activities
  • Review non-sterile product documentation and release product.

General:

  • Perform weekly Spider-web and 5 basics audits.
  • Highlight Quality issues to relevant areas and assist in problem solving efforts.

In addition to the above:

  • Demonstrate acceptable dependability.
  • Work within a team environment.
  • Perform repetitive to frequent tasks using standard procedures, tools, and equipment.
  • Will work from Engineering Drawings and/or follow documented instructions.
  • Will be required to comply with documentation procedures and adopt the requirements of the Quality Management System.
  • Adhere to all Health and Safety procedures and requirements.

What you will need:

  • Leaving Certificate or equivalent qualification or experience background.
  • Basic math's and writing skills.
  • Effective interpersonal communications skills.
  • Blueprint/Engineering schematic reading.
  • Basic inspection techniques.
  • Basic PC skills.
  • Ability to operate small hand tools (e.g. Pliers, screwdriver, hammer, wrench etc.)
  • Must have the ability to work with and assemble small objects and component parts.  Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment, sometimes requiring extended work hours.
  • Must be able to follow detailed quality requirements and inspection procedures. 
  • Must be able to communicate product and/or component parts deficiencies to internal customers.
  • Flexibility to support the business needs.
  • Using independent judgement and inspection equipment.
  • Must be able to complete detailed documentation accurately.
  • Previous experience of using inspection equipment and techniques is desirable but not essential.
