As a Program Cost Control Analyst – Level 4, located in Huntsville, AL, you’ll be a linchpin in missions of paramount importance, defining the art of the possible from day one. This position is 100% onsite and cannot accommodate telecommute work.Our Program Cost Control Analyst will help prepare budgets and schedules for contract work and assist with financial analyses such as funding profiles, sales outlooks, cash forecasting and variance analysis. You will also work to ensure adequate funding availability by maintaining accurate records of expenditures, directing preparation for expenditure projections and submitting timely requests for additional funding to the government. This position will support intercompany programs and the site General Manager.This position will work a 9/80 schedule, with every other Friday off.Your Role and Impact:Set up cost control system, monitor and control costs and schedules on contracts requiring validated cost schedule control systemSupport audits and reviews requested by programs, customers, and company management, fact-finding and negotiation supportPerform analysis and prepare reports in order to ensure that contracts are within negotiated and agreed-upon parameters and government cost control guidelinesPerform Earned Value Metric (EVM) tasks including Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) development, budget baseline, cost risk analysis/ assessment and visibility reports, development and analysis of estimates to completeOther duties as assignedIf this job description reads like it was written specifically for you, consider joining our team!Basic Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree with 8 years of business management or program control experience or Master’s degree with 6 years of business management or program control experienceWill consider an additional 4+ years of experience in lieu of degreeMust have the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearanceExperience with financial analysis or reportingExperience with MS Office SuiteEarned Value Management (EVM) experience Preferred Qualifications: Degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting or Business AdministrationDefense industry experienceProgram Cost Control experienceExperience with FAR/DFARExperience with Costpoint, Cobra, Primavera or SAPExperience with Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)Curious about all the exciting developments with the Northrop Grumman Space Sector?
